Precision and Power: BABYMETAL ‘World Tour’ 2026 Australian Leg

Bringing BABYMETAL’s unique fusion of Japanese idol aesthetics and heavy metal to Australian arenas required a visual system that was as fast and sharp as the band itself. WOOHAH delivered a comprehensive LED and multi-camera solution that integrated live performance with the band’s high-production digital content, creating a seamless, immersive experience for the thousands of fans across the country.

Our “Arena Metal” touring solution for Destroy All Lines included:

  • Vivid Upstage Architecture: We deployed a massive ROE CB5 LED Upstage Screen. This served as the primary visual portal for the show’s digital narrative, providing the high-contrast, high-brightness surface needed to showcase the band’s viral collaboration visuals (such as “RATATATA” and “METALI!!”) alongside the intense, strobe-heavy lighting design.
  • Tactical Multi-Camera Array: To capture the meticulous choreography and high-energy crowd interactions, we supplied a specialized camera package. This included Remote-Controlled PTZ Cameras for wide-angle oversight and POV Cameras strategically placed to capture intimate, on-stage perspectives without intruding on the band’s intense movement.
  • Mission-Critical Switching: We utilized a high-performance Switching Suite to manage the live broadcast. This allowed our directors to weave together the multi-angle live feeds with pre-rendered content, ensuring the visual cuts were perfectly synchronized with the band’s frame-perfect choreography and the Kami Band’s technical virtuosity.
  • Low-Latency Site Infrastructure: We engineered a robust FOH Video Infrastructure, providing high-bandwidth, low-latency connections venue-wide. This was essential for maintaining “zero-drift” synchronization between the live musical cues and the complex video arrays, particularly during the high-speed tempo shifts typical of a BABYMETAL set.
  • Expert Touring Technicians: Our team managed the rapid deployment and site-wide signal management in every city on the tour. Their expertise in managing complex “idol-meets-metal” productions ensured 100% technical uptime from the first note of Magnolia Park to the final “We Are BABYMETAL” chant.

Congratulations to BABYMETAL and the team at Destroy All Lines on a record-breaking Australian tour. We are proud to be the technical partner trusted to bring the world’s most unique metal spectacle to the big screen.
