Pop Innovation: Camila Cabello’s Australian Tour
When global superstar Camila Cabello brought her high-energy, chart-topping hits to Australia for her 2025 tour, the visual production needed to be as bold and vibrant as her performance. Partnering with Frontier Touring, WOOHAH delivered a cutting-edge video architecture that pushed the boundaries of depth and transparency on the arena stage.
To bring this world-class pop production to life, we deployed:
- Layered LED Architecture: We featured the ROE Vanish V8T as the primary upstage wall. The transparent nature of the V8T allowed for a stunning interplay between on-screen visuals and stage lighting, creating a deep, holographic effect. This was flanked by ROE CB5 IMAG screens, providing crystal-clear close-ups for every fan in the house.
- Precision Set Projection Mapping: To add a tactile, immersive layer to the stage design, we utilised 34k Laser Projectors. This high-output projection solution was used for intricate mapping onto scenic elements, seamlessly blending physical set pieces with digital content for a truly 3D visual experience.
- Studio-Grade Broadcast Chain: Our Full Camera System, equipped with Box Lenses and CCUs, ensured that every moment of Camila’s choreography was captured with cinematic sharpness. Our Camera Direction and Switching team managed a fast-paced, high-energy live mix that matched the rhythm of the show.
- Advanced Media Server Integration: At the heart of the show, our Media Servers synchronised the transparent LED, the IMAG feeds, and the projection mapping, ensuring a flawless and cohesive visual narrative.
- National Technical Leadership: Under the guidance of our Video Technical Director, our team of Operators and Technicians managed the complex rig across the country, providing the “Technical Mastery” required for a major international pop tour.
