Transparent Horizons: OneRepublic 2026 Australian Tour
OneRepublic is renowned for a live show that is as musically flawless as it is visually sophisticated. For their 2026 tour, WOOHAH engineered a bespoke “Layered Depth” solution that utilised transparent LED to create a futuristic, open-air feel on stage, ensuring that Ryan Tedder’s legendary performance was framed by the highest-caliber technical innovation.
Our “Arena-Scale” touring solution for Live Nation included:
- Hybrid “Floor & Flown” Transparent LED: We deployed a complex array of ROE Vanish V8T panels, utilizing both flown arrays and ground-supported floor solutions. The V8T’s high transparency (60%) allowed for incredible creative flexibility – light could pass through the video content, creating a stunning 3D depth-of-field that integrated the band into the visuals.
- Complex Structural Rigging: Because the V8T panels were used in both flown and floor configurations, our team designed a Specialized Rigging Solution to ensure perfect alignment and stability across every venue on the East Coast. This allowed for the “floating” screen effect that became a signature of the 2026 tour design.
- Low-Latency Site Infrastructure: We provided the Full FOH Video Infrastructure, ensuring high-bandwidth, low-latency connections venue-wide. This was critical for maintaining perfect synchronization between the band’s live musical cues and the complex, high-definition playback content.
- Precision Touring Technicians: Our Technicians managed the rapid deployment and calibration of the Vanish system in every city. Their expertise in managing transparent LED – which requires delicate color-balancing and “see-through” light management – ensured a flawless, “magazine-quality” look for every show.
