Above & Beyond: Raine & Horne 2026 Awards at the Hordern
For the 2025 NSW | ACT State Awards, the Hordern Pavilion was transformed into a sophisticated, high-tech gala environment. WOOHAH didn’t just supply equipment; we functioned as the Technical Production Department, working directly with Raine & Horne to manage the event’s flow, atmosphere, and broadcast-quality execution.
Our “Total Event” solution for Raine & Horne included:
- End-to-End AV Management: We provided a full-service technical solution, taking responsibility for the entire sensory experience. This included Technical Direction, Show Calling, and expert Technical Assistance with the overall event production to ensure every award handover was frame-perfect.
- High-Impact LED Visuals: We utilized ROE CB5 LED Screens to create a vibrant, large-scale backdrop. The CB5 provided the perfect balance of brightness and color depth, ensuring that brand logos, winner announcements, and tribute videos were high-contrast and punchy throughout the venue.
- Pro-Broadcast Camera Chain: We supplied a comprehensive Camera System and Control suite, allowing for live IMAG and recording. This ensured that the emotion of the winners on stage was captured with professional clarity and broadcast to the large-scale screens.
- Integrated Audio & Lighting Design: Our team managed the full Audio and Lighting packages, specifically tuned for the Hordern’s unique acoustics. We provided crystal-clear speech reinforcement for the presenters and high-energy “stings” and wash lighting to elevate the celebratory atmosphere.
- Mission-Critical Infrastructure: We deployed Media Servers and a Full FOH Video Infrastructure to handle the complex playback of hundreds of winner graphics and video packages with zero latency.
