Southern Soul on the Big Screen: Zac Brown Band 2025 Australian Tour
For the 2025 Zac Brown Band tour, the visual narrative was as important as the music. Whether it was the “Caribbean-infused” visuals for Knee Deep or a poignant tribute to Jimmy Buffett, WOOHAH provided the technical canvas that allowed the band to connect with their “home away from home” audience.
Our national touring package for this Frontier Touring production included:
- Cinematic LED Backdrop: We deployed a massive ROE CB5 LED Upstage Wall as the centerpiece of the stage design. The high contrast and colour depth of the CB5 were essential for displaying the tour’s rich, scenic content and vibrant motion graphics.
- Hybrid IMAG Solutions: Adapting to the specific requirements of each venue – from Margaret Court Arena to Riverstage – we provided tailored IMAG solutions utilising either high-output LED or professional projection to ensure perfect sightlines for every fan in the house.
- Studio-Grade Broadcast Chain: Our Full Camera System, equipped with Box Lenses and CCUs, allowed for ultra-sharp capture of the band’s intricate instrumental interplay.
- Advanced Multi-M/E Switching: With a 2 M/E Switcher at the heart of our Camera Direction, we delivered a sophisticated live mix that allowed for complex layering of live feeds and playback, ensuring a seamless visual flow throughout the high-energy set.
- Touring Rigging & Technical Leadership: Our Technical Direction team and Operators managed the complex signal flow and rigging requirements across the multi-city run, providing the “Technical Mastery” required for a major international Southern rock production.
