Awards nights are high-stakes environments where timing, layering, and visual precision are everything. For the Panasonic Legends Down Under at Hyatt Place, WOOHAH partnered with Seventy Seven to deliver a sophisticated, multi-surface production that reflected the prestige of a global technology leader.
Managing the complexity of a flagship awards event requires a “master-control” mindset:
- Curved LED Architecture: We deployed a series of high-resolution 2mm LED screens, featuring custom curved screen solutions. This created a wrap-around visual experience that added depth and a modern, high-tech aesthetic to the Hyatt Place ballroom.
- The Brains: Barco E2 System: To manage the intricate visual demands of the night, we utilised the Barco E2 screen management system. This allowed for complex layering of live camera feeds, award category graphics, and cinematic stings with total “visual output mastery.”
- Broadcast Capture & Post-Production: We provided a full Camera Package to capture the evening’s highlights. Beyond the live show, our Videographer and Post-Production team provided rapid editing services to turn the night’s best moments into a high-quality wrap reel.
- Synchronised Sensory Design: We delivered a comprehensive Audio and Lighting solution specifically tuned for the cadence of an awards ceremony—ensuring every walk-up was high-energy and every speech was crystal clear.
- Technical Direction: From the initial planning stages to the final curtain, our Technical Director oversaw the entire production, ensuring the complex run-sheet was executed with the precision Panasonic is known for.
