For the Nine Upfronts, the brief was clear: create an immersive, broadcast-quality environment that reflected Nine’s position at the forefront of Australian media. Partnering with The Helm, WOOHAH engineered a multi-dimensional LED stage design that wrapped the audience in high-fidelity content, transforming a traditional presentation into a cinematic event.

To meet the high-pressure demands of a major media launch, we delivered:

  • High-Resolution Visual Backbone: We deployed multiple ROE BP2v2 LED screens, including a massive, seamless upstage wall. The ultra-fine pixel pitch of the BP2v2 was essential for displaying Nine’s premium 4K sizzle reels and data-heavy presentations with absolute clarity, even for those in the front row.
  • Immersive Ceiling Architecture: To add a dynamic third dimension to the room, we rigged a custom ROE CB5 roof LED screen. This overhead element allowed for synchronised environmental lighting and “skyline” visuals, creating a fully encapsulated brand experience.
  • Precision Content Management: Our Media Servers handled the complex mapping and playback for the multi-screen array. Every transition was frame-perfect, ensuring the live presenters and digital content moved in total harmony.
  • High-Stakes Technical Direction: Given the strict deadlines and tight turnarounds typical of major media launches, our Technical Direction team managed a rigorous 24-hour build and rehearsal schedule. We provided the calm, expert leadership required to ensure a flawless execution under the industry’s brightest spotlight.
