By combining high-resolution LED backdrops with a versatile, wireless camera plot, we provided the “Technical Mastery” required to broadcast Matt’s unpredictable, high-energy performance to a sold-out arena crowd.
Our specialized comedy solution for the “Stay Golden” Tour included:
- Vibrant LED Stage Branding: We deployed a large-scale ROE CB5 LED upstage wall. This served as the primary visual anchor for the show’s “Stay Golden” branding, providing a crisp, high-contrast backdrop that maintained its clarity under the ICC’s sophisticated house lighting.
- Cinematic Arena IMAGs: To flank the stage, we supplied large-scale ROE CB5 LED IMAG screens. These were essential for capturing Matt’s facial expressions and physical comedy, ensuring that his “crowd work” translated perfectly to the back of the theatre.
- Pro-Grade Broadcast Chain: We provided a Full SMPTE Camera Package equipped with high-magnification Box Lenses and complete CCU control. This allowed our directors to maintain “studio-grade” skin tones and needle-sharp focus throughout the 90-minute set.
- Mobile & Wireless Capture: To capture the spontaneous nature of Matt’s interaction with the audience, we utilised Wireless Handheld Cameras. These allowed our operators to move freely and get tight, reactive shots of the crowd, making the audience an integral part of the broadcast.
- Mission-Critical Switching: We utilised ROSS Carbonite switching to manage the live visual narrative. This high-reliability platform allowed for low-latency mixing of the multi-angle feeds, ensuring that the visual cuts were as fast and rhythmic as Matt’s comedic timing.
- Expert Technical Team: Our Camera Direction and Operators managed the complex signal flow and live broadcast requirements, providing the stability and precision required for a world-class Live Nation production.
