Kaiser Chiefs at the Hordern Pavilion
When the Kaiser Chiefs took the stage in Sydney, the goal was to create a massive, high-contrast backdrop that could keep up with their relentless on-stage movement. WOOHAH delivered a premium ROE CB5 solution, providing a bright, rugged, and reliable canvas that turned the Hordern into a high-octane visual arena.
Our technical delivery for Live Nation included:
- High-Impact Upstage Wall: We deployed a large-scale ROE CB5 LED screen as the primary visual anchor. Known for its touring durability and excellent brightness, the CB5 provided the perfect surface for the band’s bold graphic content, ensuring every “I Predict a Riot” moment was backed by stunning visual clarity.
- Premium Brompton Processing: To drive the LED array, we utilised Brompton Technology processing. This is the gold standard for live touring, offering superior control over colour accuracy, brightness, and refresh rates, ensuring the visuals looked as good to the naked eye as they did through the lenses of a thousand smartphones.
- 4K Fibre Infrastructure: We engineered a robust 4K Video Infrastructure connecting Front of House (FOH) to the stage. This high-bandwidth, low-latency link ensured that the VJ’s content was delivered to the screens with frame-perfect synchronisation, regardless of the distance or complexity of the venue’s cable paths.
- Specialized Touring Technicians: Our Technicians managed the rapid deployment and calibration of the Brompton system, providing the “Technical Mastery” required to ensure 100% uptime for one of the UK’s most legendary indie-rock exports.
Congratulations to the Kaiser Chiefs and Live Nation on a massive Sydney show. We are proud to be the technical partner trusted to power the biggest names in British rock.
