The Blue Note: Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif Launch

For the launch of Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif, the brief was to create an immersive “Jazz Blue” environment that mirrored the fragrance’s depth and complexity. Moving away from traditional high-footprint rigging, WOOHAH utilised a cutting-edge, 100% wireless approach to respect the aesthetic of the curated space while delivering a high-end, cinematic glow.

Our technical execution for this “stylish soirée” included:

  • Complete Astera Wireless Transformation: We executed the entire venue lighting design using exclusively Astera battery-powered fixtures. This allowed for a “zero-cable” installation, maintaining the clean lines of the architectural space while bathing Machine Hall in a seamless wash of deep, sophisticated blue.
  • Curated Lighting Specials: To support the evening’s jazz-meets-hip-hop performances and product discovery stations, we engineered Lighting Specials designed to highlight specific “Blue Note” moments. These cues were surgically timed to transition between the intimate cocktail atmosphere and the high-energy live sets by Beat Mystique and DJ Jai Piccone.
  • Atmospheric Technical Direction: Our Technical Director worked closely with Studio Messa to ensure the lighting levels perfectly complemented the fragrance’s amber-woody narrative. Every fixture was calibrated to ensure that even in a low-light environment, the product and guests were captured with studio-grade clarity.
  • Seamless Boutique Execution: Operating within the exacting standards of the Chanel brand, our Operators and Technicians delivered a flawless, silent technical presence. The result was an environment where the technology felt like a natural extension of the scent, sound, and style.
