Transparent Innovation: Alex Warren’s East Coast Arena Tour
As Alex Warren brought his viral hits to the East Coast’s premier arenas, the stage design required a balance of depth and massive scale. Partnering with Frontier Touring, WOOHAH deployed a unique visual configuration that utilised transparent LED technology and high-output projection to create a multi-layered, cinematic environment for the “Carry You Home” artist.
To deliver this high-spec arena show, we provided:
- Transparent LED Architecture: We featured the ROE Vanish V8T as the primary upstage wall. With its high transparency and exceptional brightness, the V8T allowed for stunning layered effects – blending digital content with physical lighting through the screen—to create a depth of field that a standard LED wall simply cannot achieve.
- High-Output Projection IMAG: To ensure the massive arena crowds had a perfect view of every emotion, we deployed a 34K 4K Projection solution for the side IMAG screens. These ultra-bright, high-resolution projectors delivered crisp, life-like imagery that felt cinematic and organic, perfectly complementing the transparent aesthetic of the main stage.
- Broadcast-Grade Camera Chain: Our Camera Package included professional Camera Control Units (CCU) and Box Lenses, allowing for studio-level colour grading and precision focus from the back of the arena. This ensured that every frame on the big screens was broadcast-quality and perfectly colour-matched.
- Expert Technical Direction & Direction: Our Camera Director navigated the high-energy performance, utilising the depth of the stage to capture unique angles, while our Recording Package ensured the entire East Coast run was preserved in high definition for future tour highlights.
- Specialist Arena Crew: Our Technicians managed the complex calibration of the transparent LED and the precision alignment of the 34K projectors, delivering the “Technical Mastery” required to keep an international tour running at peak performance.
